Learning Resources:

Benchmark Universe Family eBook Library: This is the ELA curriculum we use at the school, and they have made it possible to read books from their vast online library for free here! Just sign up for an account and you'll be all set.

BrainPOP: A cross-category curriculum, which is great for learning a wide variety of subjects. Has a very extensive amount of educational materials, including videos, games, and quizzes.

i-Ready Login: Online lessons/quizzes that your child’s teacher can track. Used during a typical school day, so students should be familiar with it.

Kids A-Z Reading: Online books/comprehension quizzes.

Use the APS student login. If you do not have your student's login, please contact their teacher via the Contact Us page to request it.


Istation Login Page: Online lessons/quizzes that your child’s teacher can track. Very thorough, as it adapts to your student's level automatically.

To log-in to this page, make sure to select Manzano Mesa ES from the school name page, then have your student log-in with their username and password. If they cannot remember it, contact their teacher.

Khan Academy: Searchable math topics with lessons, quizzes, and progress monitoring. Has a specific schedule for students missing school due to closures. 

Origo SLATE Stepping Stones At Home: This is the math curriculum we use at school. They have given all parents access to lessons (in both English and Spanish) at this webpage. This currently has a week worth of activities, but will have more soon.

Our friends in the Fine Arts have been busy! Fine Arts teams of visual art and music teachers developed a lesson each week for the remainder of the school year. So that translates to 6 art and 6 music lessons for each grade level K-5.

Library Resources:

Scholastic Learn at Home: A curriculum for all grades (even Pre-K) set up by Scholastic free of charge for students. Highly recommended for a more regimented, daily distance learning experience.

Tumble Math:

A comprehensive collection of math picture books, complete with animation and narration. The books are accompanied by supplementary materials such as lesson plans and quizzes.

Mackin has given us thousands more ebooks until September 2020 and we are in the process of adding them. Some are multi-use unlimited and some are not. We will send out more information on how to find the multi-use ebooks.
